The Bruce W. Woolpert Scholarship is open to incoming and current students pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics or Statistics who graduated from high school in Santa Cruz or San Benito County. The Bob Curry Scholarship is for undergraduate and graduate students majoring in Environmental Science. This scholarship is available to students involved in the CSUMB Watershed Program. Applicants must file a FAFSA or Dream App.

The Jess Tabasa Scholarship is available to undergraduate students in any major within the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences with preference to those students in the School of Social Sciences & Global Studies (SSGS) or majoring in Ethnic & Gender Studies (EGS). The Carmel Garden Club Scholarship is open to continuing undergraduate or graduate students working with Native Plants. Applicants must be majoring in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, AGPS, and Scientific Illustration.

The Astronaut Scholarship Foundation awards more than 70 scholarships to selected scholars. An applicant must be a citizen of the United States, either native born or naturalized, and must be at least a sophomore applying for their junior year, or a junior applying to receive a scholarship for their senior year. They must be enrolled in one of the participating universities in the Scholarship Program. Additionally, nominated students must be enrolled for both semesters for the ASF-supported academic year. Applicants must be seeking a STEM degree with intentions to pursue research or advance their field upon completion of their final degrees. Students intending to pursue a practice in professional medicine are not eligible for the scholarship. However, those intending to perform biomedical research are eligible. The Foundation only accepts nominations for the Astronaut Scholarship from its affiliated and participating universities. If a student is interested in being nominated, they should contact a member of their university's faculty regarding consideration. Students may also contact the university liaison for more details regarding the internal process. Two letters of recommendation are required. The Campus Safety, Health and Environmental Management Association Scholarship is open to students who are currently registered as a student in a 4-year degree-granting course of study in an institution of higher education in North America. Applicants must have at least one full year of study remaining in their degree program; and are enrolled in majors geared toward an Environmental Health & Safety career (such as, but not limited to, Environmental Science, Fire Protection, Health Physics, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Safety, etc.). Each application will be evaluated based on the applicant's eligibility, submission of required information, and essay composition. ASDSO's Dam Safety Scholarship Program was established in 1992, recognizing that one of the keys to achieving the association's goals is the development of well-trained technical persons. The Judith Resnik Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to students who are AstroE, AstroET, AeroE, or AeroET majors. Applicants with SWE membership are preferred. SWE scholarships support students pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in engineering, engineering technology, and fields related to engineering. Applicants must be studying at an ABET-accredited program in engineering, technology or computing in the upcoming academic year. Students who attend an ABET-accredited community college program are also eligible to apply. The scholarship reviewers focus on extracurricular activities, work history, volunteerism, and interest and involvement in STEM. Applicants must submit one reference, either from someone who can speak to the applicant's academic work, such as a teacher, or someone who knows the applicant well and can speak to their character, such as a coach or supervisor. Paula Loring endowed the Paula Loring Simon Scholarship in 2014 for CprE, CS, and EE students. This scholarship is renewable for four years. SWE considers academic achievements, participation in extracurricular or volunteer activities, and interest in engineering.
